Chief Executive Officer
Michael Congdon is responsible for evaluating corporate strategy, managing the overall operations and financial resources of the company, and ensuring the firms objectives are being met. In addition, Michael also sits as a voting member on the Investment Policy Committee. He works with Ken and the investment management team to interpret data, evaluate portfolio and market performance, and develop and refine new investment theories using a data based analytical framework.
He graduated from Le Moyne College in 2010 with a Bachelors of Science in Finance and Business Analytics. After working several years in the trading department of Cadaret Grant learning the financial services industry, Michael left to attend graduate school at Binghamton University. After earning his MBA in 2013, he spent just over five years working for National Grid in various financial analyst roles, quickly being promoted to Senior Analyst. In January 2019, Michael left National Grid to accept the role of CEO at The Horizon Group.
Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time in the Thousand Islands, and is an avid fan of the Syracuse Orange and Buffalo Bills.
